Death Magnetic & Black Ice

what do people think about Metallicas new album, Death Magnetic, and AC/DC's new album, Black Ice?
i already have Death Magnetic, and its pretty good, but idk about Black Ice.
does anyone have it and can tell me if it is par with any previous things they've done in the past?

Well, I can tell you Black Ice sounds exactly like everything they've done after "The Razor's Edge" whixh is to say, good but not exciting. Of course, I much prefer the 70's AC/DC, but if "Back In Black" et al is your thing then pick up "Black Ice." It's standard AC/DC awesome, but I must warn you, it's not exciting in the least.

Dunno about Metallica. I think they suck personally, but I'm more a Motorhead style metalhead myself (i.e. wannabe punk.)

I only own Metallica's Black Album and will try their Master of Puppets at some point in the future. As for their new album, nope I'm not getting it.

As for AC/DC, the first half was really good especially their first 4 songs, the rest is what Reverend Joe said, awesome regular AC/DC. Good songs all-in-all. I will be going to see them on the 2nd of December!!! :thrasher:
