You could show some more of the actual action, but it's a good picture whatsoever. The pike going through the Celt is also a bit disturbing, but ok. Hope you're not offended, just some constructive critisism here.

Thanks. Constructive criticism is appreciated. I'm not a huge fan of shots that have tons of soldiers fighting, because it's really chaotic and you don't know which soldiers to focus on.

And I suppose the sarissa just went through the Celt's cloak, because the Celt seems to be unhurt.

Great screen shot! I have one almost just like this, I was going to use it for next months competition. My picture was at the Battle of the Rhone River, but I won't use it next month. I will just use another Carthaginian battle that not alot of people have heard of as my next theme. Really good picture though!

If you have photoshop, the tool you're looking for is called *drum roll* crop tool. Just choose it and then drag out and mark what you wish to keep and then press enter. You can easily do it with MS Paint as well, by marking what you wish to keep, hit ctrl+c, create a new picture and hit ctrl+v.

Ah, then you do it this way: you select what you wish to keep (preferably using the rectangle select tool, since it's likely you want a rectangular picture ~;)) and then open the Image menu. There you should see the option "crop to selection". Click it and voila! Your picture is cropped.

Hey, didnt know that, thank you!. I think you can disable the flags too, that can help to get a good screenshot also.

And no it isnt edited. I use the minimal UI since I am using 1440x900 resolution and some of you probably know how crappy look the UI in widescreen resolution :thumbsdown:, it is a shame.
