Has anyone ever attempted to make a mod for RTW or any other TW title set in modern/ near-future times? I have no experience in coding, modeling or any other modding activities, so I really don't know what this would entail, but it seems plausible to me. Any thoughts on the matter?

And now, a picture of a person driving.

IN PRESENT DAY.

Sorry to burst your bubble but the TW engine wont support mordern warfae in ANY shape or form. The TW engine was designed for lines and column battles. Modern warfare consists of too many other factors to use this engine for EX. The fact that most infantry today split into TINY units in order to avoid the artillery. Lines of battle are set up over HUNDREDS of miles rather than in a tiny area. Aircraft, submarines, shifting postions. It would take SOOO much micro management that the battles would be near impossible to win.

Sorry dude but if CA is going to do that then they will need to make a whole new engine and game from the ground up.
