Playing Saka and in two provinces takashila and the one just south of it, after building the Allied Government building, no General is spawned. Is this correct? In Vers 1.1 a General was made after building the Allied Government Building, has this been changed? or is their another building that will spawn a General?

Just saw the sticky where there is a fix for this it looks like. Is the fix save game compatible? I'm in 227 BC with Saka and would hate to have to start over.

Retroactive means having an effect on ongoing campaigns, and not retroactive means you'll have to start a new campaign to get its effects. As a rule, all fixes are savegame compatible though (meaning they won't break a campaign), if one isn't it will say so in the information about it.

It's been changed. Now you have to recruit an client ruler yourself. He is available as soon as you complete the government building, though.

In the region near the see in india, can't remember the name, I built the indigenous settlement and the allied government building but the general is not recruitable? I did the fix and posted to EB/data as told, any reason you can think of why I still can't recruit a general?

Thanks for your help.

After thinking about this, doesn't your general get bad traits when you move him from one settlement to another?

No. Unless you mean the ones that come from constantly force marching him. You're not traveling far though.

In vers 1.1 playing the saka when generals were recruited from building the Allied Government building and I moved them from one settlement to another in india he would get the trait imposter. But it looks like everything is working well now in my game. Thanks a bunch.
