The cats lost the race to become zodiacs... (they lost to pigs...) so the cats can't complain. :clown:

Im a horse, and a leo which explains a lot...
Also... I'm a metal horse, which even hits the head of the nail harder than before.... Maybe the chinese had is right. Who knew.
The horse personality is often willing to give as well as expect a lot of liberty. These people are extremely independent and confident. The horse person is very quick-witted, inquisitive and determined. They are very good at recognizing patterns: she or he is on to the thought in your mind even before you've expressed it. In general, these people are gifted. They adore being the center of everyone's attention, but they prefer to be recognized for their skills and are easily flattered. On the other hand these people have an honesty and genuine warmth which attracts lots of people and helps them make new friends. People as a rule confide in a horse person because he/she is sincerely interested in their thoughts and feelings and is able to help with both wise words and an action, but there is a small problem about it - the horse person is so excited by new discoveries that it is difficult for them to keep a secret. This is not something that arises out of malice or revenge - sometimes they just cannot help themselves.
It is easy to inspire such a person by new ideas and he/she tends to act on them without delay, carried away by the excitement of the moment. But it is also important to remember that there is a danger for a horse person to be too impulsive and it may cause some problems in the future. And if they do not see the result of their efforts, it is rather natural for them to turn their attention to a new project and head off once again, brimming with new ideas. The horse person is always ready to offer good advice and can be very persuasive, but his/her confident and carefree approach hides inner doubts. Those who know such a person will recognize this, and offer the support and reassurance he/she needs. Males born under the year of the Horse are considered charming and attractive to members of the opposite sex.
Horses should beware of the Rat, as any relationship with this sign is said to be extremely trying for the horse. Of all relationships between Chinese zodiac signs, a relationship between a rat and a horse is said to be the worst. The rat may just be too calculating, dictatorial and possessive for the free-spirited and independent horse. A relationship with a rat can potentially break down the horse's free-spirit and cause rage in the rat - as neither will be willing to yield to the other. Rats and Horses will attract each other like no other. Male Horses, especially, will find the female Rat irresistible, though they always bring out the worst in each other. Horses do get along great with Tigers, Sheep and Dogs.

Water Rat
Being guided by the Water element means these Rats have a knack for influencing people. With their strong intellectual powers and great insight, they are also great puzzle solvers. They are quick to understand others and are incredibly practical people. Rats apply their talents to their everyday lives, making them obliging, generous and compassionate to other people. Generally, they are liked and respected by everyone. Like all Rats, however, they can be determined to seek their own gain, and will not mind using these talents to achieve it - though generally without losing anyone's respect in doing so.

Dragon... (why Chinese never add Wolf?)
Just a side note...
The poll has 13 options. In the zodiac - aren't there only 12 signs? I can't find Boar in the Wiki article.

Related to that question, is this info: http://www.asia-home.com/china/cncaps.php?lang=en, which explains the Chinese LUNAR year, which is shorter than the euro Gregorian Year. You guys may be "older" than you think, and have birthdays earlier than you think - and subsequently Chinese zodiac signs different than you've found.

Yep... according to the Chinese, I am one year older than I thought I was. I am also married to a Rabbit which according to the Chinese is a bad match.
Sorry ... but I have lost faith in this and deem this as humbug... :mean:

The Boar is the result of Warman passion for hunting, I believe. ~;)
Ah, and forgot to replace the dragon scales with a rabbit fur. Then I'm a cannibal, I believe.
I am confused: when I read about the dragon it suited me (many of the things, though not all). Some of the things about rabbit fit well, too. Others... I was laughing when I read about tidy workplace/home! Sooo... wrong
So Fire Rabbit.. Yes, fire at the Rabit.
Not at me...
Must be 22 according to the Chinese wisemen.
This lunar calendar works out great for me. When I went back to China this year my relations gave me a lot of money/gifts for my lunar 16th birthday (the 16th birthday is one of the most birthdays in China). Next year when I go back I'll get more gifts because I will have my REAL 16th birthday.

Metal Rooster (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rooster_%28zodiac%29#Traditional_Rooster_Attributes.2FAssociations) (1982) - some how makes me think of a weather vane. The metal is supposed to be feminine which I have been told I am by both humans and machines (quizzes on the internet) alike.
According the the page I linked to I'm brave (depends on what I'm fighting), enthusiastic (maybe), witty (a little), loyal (depends on who to), hardworking (no), intelligent (possibly), meticulous (yes), generous (not really, last gave a penny to a charitable cause in 04 - I told a waitress she could keep my 1p change) and talented (not especially).
I'm also self-involved (I suppose so), materialistic (terribly), overly-romantic (yes), pretentious (certainly), vain (very), bossy (yes), fussy (yes) and blunt (can be).
I certainly fit with the negative, less so with the positives.
My countries are supposed to be Belgium (always wanted to go there), Afghanistan (sorry to any Afghans, but no), South Korea (sounds nice), Poland (uncertain), Czech Republic (maybe) and Morocco (sounds exotic so I certainly would like to go there).
~:)
Im a boar with metal as my element.
