1-Everyone is a barbarian to someone
2-his body was mummified and ssent to Vergina for burial, but ptolemaios stole it, took it to Eypt, and built a crypt there. He was origionally in a golden coffin, but that got sold by a ptolemaian. several romans visited the tomb, including Augustus, who broke Alexander's nose, Caracalla, and Severus, who closed the tomb to visitors for fear of destruction. all records cease afterwards-god knows what the hell fell on it.
3-differences in government and religion: one is ruled by divine kings, the other by a cousil. this reflects on religion, and leads to trouble.
4-blablableta (I can't pronunce all but the last bit, so I can't spell)
5-It will be relesed whenever the hell its released. could be 2 years, 3, or 10-but it will definitly be after Empires total war:clown:
as for screenshots: can you clarify that? i don't get it.

Q1 To ME (Satalexton), who are the true barbaroi of EB?
*Looks at Maion's paper*
Romaioi.
Q2 What happened to Alexandros' body after his death?
A giant lizard from space ate him.
Q3 Why do the Aedui and Averni hate each other?
Because brothers always fight.
Q4 According to teh greek voicemod, what do greek soldiers say when they are being shot at? (I'm not picky about spelling)
Now we fight in the shade!
Q5 (Your're a fool if you get this wrong) According to the EB team, when will EBII be released?
When the stars take the shape of a cloven tongue, and the blood of the oxen boils in the sun.
2, You post an EB screenshot AND a sentence (or more) about it. I'll be the judge for the first three balloons, and Maion will be the judge for Bob.

Q3 because the Haedui got quite strong, and the Averni could not stand this. And the haedui asked the romans to help them in war against the Averni. PHA! Of course they hated each other. But in fact the Haedui were pussies, even asked caesar to help against the Helvetii (hrhrhr). Couldn't resist them allone. Go, Helvetii, go! :cheerleader: :cheerleader:
the other questions have been answered, it would not be right to copy those answers, even if i have the same opinon as the writer.

Since all the other questions seem more or less answered, I just reply to question four, for which "Polemioi Apetitendai!" is probably the answer. I have also heard "Barbaroi Viente!", but I am still sticking to my first answer. The Latin equivalent of this would be "Incasimo Hostimus!" Oh, and about question one: no-one I think is the answer. If not, then it is the Romaioi, as the Greeks called them, after all.

Concerning the Picture, here is mine (it is a Picture from my current KH-Campaign):
Epic battle of decision in the Second Macedonian War
https://img368.imageshack.us/img368/9219/epickhmakzp2.png
The two Superpowers were equally strong at this point of history. The Koinon Hellenon seeked to regain their former power and invaded macedonian territory again. After the swift conquest of Thessalia, which caught the Arche Makedonia completely off guard, the particular Kleronomoi Arches (*) of those two Nations met each other in Makedonia itself at the gates of its capital city, Pella.
Agis Eurypontidos Lakedaimonios led the Royal Army of the Koinon Hellenon. The sophisticated warrior had fought many battles against hellenic armies. He was victorious when he met the Arche Seleukeia on battlefield at the age of 21, just short after he had excelled in Spartan Agoge, and he slaughtered many men from Epeiros when he defended Thermon some years later. At the current point of time, he commanded 29'000 men.
Heavy/Heavy Infantery - (ca. 7'500 men)
- Somatophylakes Strategou
- Thorakitai Hoplitai
- Hoplitai
Heavy/Medium Infantery - (ca. 12'500 men)
- Thorakitai
- Ekdromoi Hoplitai
- Hoplitai Haploi
Light/Range supportive Infantery (ca. 7'000 men)
- Toxotai
- Peltastai
Cavallery (ca. 2'000 Men)
- Hippeis
Sosipatros Saneus on the other side also was an excellent warrior. He also fought the seleukids and won many battles. He was a talented infantery leader and knew how to defend a city. At this point of time, he led the 24'500 men strong Imperial Army of the Arche Makedonia.
Heavy/Phalangitai Infantery (ca. 7'000 men)
- Argyraspides
- Pezhetairoi
Heavy/Heavy Infantery (ca. 3'000 men)
- Peltastai Makedonikoi
Heavy/Medium Infantery (ca. 6'500 men)
- Agrianikoi Pelekephoroi
- Thureophoroi
Light/Range supportive Infantery (ca. 5'500 men)
- Peltastai
- Sphendonetai
- Toxotai
Cavallery (ca. 2'500 men)
- Somatophylakes Strategou
- Prodromoi
The idea was, that the winner of this battle should gain deadly advantage over his contrahend. A loss of such a great elite-force couldn't bear neither the one nor the other.
A few months after the Koinon Hellenon layed siege to Pella, Sosipatros made a sortie and attacked his hellenic foes. This battle will go down in history as the most cruel combat in a thousand years. Both facions did not give one single centimeter of battleground for free. It took 3 hours of slaughtering until the Koinon Hellenon could break the right flank of the makedonian Army. Unfortunately at almost the same time, the Peltastai Makedonikoi and Pezhetairoi breached the K. Hellenons flank on the other side of the battlefield, although they've been surrounded by the Hoplitai Haploi and the Ekdromoi Hoplitai in the first place (!), and so the armies turned 90 degrees and found themselves at the same positions as before.
After a very long and hard battle, Sosipatros Saneus, who had fought bravely at his mens side, fell at the hand of a Thorakitai Hoplitai. From that point of time the makedonians gave up more ground and the light infantery started to rout. This was, how that battle has been decided.
None makedonian soldier survived, but the people of Pella remained unharmed.
The Royal Army of Agis Eurypontidos Lakedaimonios lost about 20'000 men from death and injury, about 4000 could be saved, but 16'000 brave men did never see home again.
Though the Koinon Hellenon took possession of a great amount of land from the Arche Makedonia, since no faction could win a clear victory, nothing was lost for the Makedonians. Althoug they lost the battle, the great losses of the Hellens forced them to stop their expansion and to start strenghtening their military immediately. The king of Epeiros already peered hard at his weakened foes.

Q1: Romaioi! The true dogs!
Q2: Stole at the funeral by Ptolemy I after Alexandros death (before would be scary:skull:)
and buried in Alexandria instead of Mekedonia
Q3: Because of the Roman Alliance with the Haedui. The Haedui where seen as traitors by the Arveni. Arveni hired Sweboz/Suebi as mercenaries. Suebi bashed Aedui and started oppressing Aedui and Arveni! So they have a reason for hate
Q4: "Polemioi Apetitendai!"
Q5: When it's done!
ps. i am to lazy to look for a nice picture
p.p.s omg these questions are SOOO easy
How can you say the Romans are the true barbarians of the day? Rome were last on the list of barbaric people, although they definitely were barbaric.

Q1: I
Q2: Megas Alexandros did not die in Babylon. He uncovered an intricate plot by Ptolemaios and Eumenes to assassinate him and claim his power, but just as he was about to order them arrested he saw a pretty flower near the river, and as he bent down to smell it he saw Eumenes standing before him.
Alexandros was terrified, but before he could call for help Eumenes had lunged upon him, sword in hand. But Alexandros' quick reflexes served him well, and he dodged the Cardian and ran towards the nearest Makedonians he could see. As it turned out though, these men had been bribed bu Eumenes and once they recognised Alexandros they charged at him with swords raised high.
Alexandros panicked until he between two houses spotted a small boat on the river. He ran for safety and reached the boat and set forth before Eumenes' men could reach him. Afraid to encounter any more assassins Alexandros sailed outside of the city limits, eventually reaching a little fishing village some 20 miles south of Babylon.
He expected to be greeted as the great Basileus he was, but when the villagers realised who he was they cursed him as an evil invader and chased him out of the town with only a horse and no supplies.
Frightened by the confrontation in the village Alexandros rode hard south along the river, not stopping for anyone or anything. Finally he reached Charax on the coast.
As he entered the city he himself had founded in his ragged dirty clothes and on his pitiful excuse for a horse he looked nothing like the great conqueror of Persia, and when he treated the guards at the city-gate like servants they promptly beat him up whereafter a passing beggar stole his boots.
Now thoroughly convinced that the entire world was out to get him Alexandros ran towards the harbour like a madman. He snuck aboard a ship heading for India, but as the trip was long and he refused to leave the amphora in which he hid hid he starved to death somewhere along the way, whereafter he was eaten by the shiprats and when the crew finally discovered his skeleton they dumped it in the ocean.
Q3: It´s just a continuation of the eternal Coffe vs. Tea discussion.
Q4: Nothing fitting for these forums.
Q5: Sometime in february next year if everything works out correctly.

Them filthy dogs know no honour, no treaty, no valour!
Well, if we can be serious for just a moment... Ever since nations with rulers and organized warfare have been around treaties haven't been worth the paper they're written on.
What is a treaty? It's an agreement. What do men do a lot? Change their minds. A treaty is only valid for as long as both parties stick to it, regardless of what it says or what dates are on it.
I still hold that Rome were no more barbaric in the day than anybody else.

my god, when one's reading what you all are writing here about barbarians, one would almost think people today behaved more "civilized" than any ancient culture. :gathering:
In fact people still are the same barbarians as the were over 2000 years ago, they just act out barbarism with more developed accessories.

Roma Victrix!
Seriously, any strong nation must realize that treaties are nothing but pieces of papers that serve only one's own purposes. A truly powerful country must abandon all its honour, as it is a detriment in diplomacy and war.

not nessarily. the Romans weren't that big on discarding their honour on a whim if I recall. also, I think the answer should be "every one is a barbarian to someone" because seriously the Romans weren't anymore barbaric than the other factions.
