Weird error when game is minimized

Sometimes when playing EB, and the game window for some reason is minimized, when I try to open the window again the screen instead starts blinking, shifting between black and showing the desktop. The only way to make this stop is to log out the user. This has never occured when playing any other game. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

have the same problem and still no solution that i kno of no one is very helpful with this one it seems:help::help::help:

this happened to me too until i put -ne in the command line to run EB in wondowed mode
