Select item from the list????

I now installed bi...(wanted to use shieldwall)

When i click on the EB campaign...a window pops up...saying....select item from the list?

I exchanged the rome exe withe bi exe,or are there other things i must do to get it work???

Take a look at the unofficial mods. There should be a EB+BI installer there.

If you really want to do it yourself, don't forget to make a "barbarian_invasion" folder in your EB\Data\world\maps\campaign and copy everything from "imperial_campaign" into it.

Without it BI doesn't have a campaign map...

Then you can add shieldwall and stuff in the EDU

Besides copying of eb\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign to eb\data\world\maps\campaign\barbarian_invasion you need to copy eb\data\text\imperial_campaign_regions_and_settlement_names.txt to eb\data\text\barbarian_invasion_regions_and_settlement_names.txt
Also you will need to edit eb\data\world\maps\campaign\barbarian_invasion\descr_strat.txt to uncomment options bi line and edit EDU to allow shieldwall for some units.

Does the trivial script works with bi??

There is a line ;options bi in descr_strat.txt, you need to remove semicolon. Perhaps it would be easier for you to download an installer from unofficial modding section which will do all the stuff for you.

And the trivial script...does it work with bi?? that trrivial script thing is a little confusing for me..

I mean....how do i start eb....1.click the eb play icon? or
2.click trivial script icon?


And when i use the trivial icon to play....does it use the bi exe(because i dont understan the path for the trivial shortcut...no rtw or bi exe in there??


i done 5 hours of reading the forums here....but still dont know much lol.

Main:
Checking this box will allow you to play ANY VERSION of Europa Barbarorum with Barbarian Invasion, past, present, and future. It will basically be the same EB as you're used to, only the AI will be much more advanced and challenging, and will be able to conduct naval invasions. If you only check this box, other mods can be installed after this installer without being screwed up.

Then change RTW to RTW-BI in your short cut and your done.
