Hey there everyone! I was browsing the Entrance Hall and it made me realise I never offered everyone the courtesy of a formal introduction. I just sort of sidled into the forum and began posting in the Empire sub-forum. So to make amends I've decided to introduce myself to you all now. While I've technically been a member for over a year I have only been posting regularly very recently so I guess I'm still really a new member.

So here goes.

Hello everyone! I'm Sir Beane, the Laughing Knight. My gave myself the title because I believe in posting with a mixture of good humour and honesty, politeness and honour. I try to be eloquent and informative with my posts, as well as trying to inject a bit of fun into a discussion. :beam:

I'm 19, a student with the Open University. I have a lot of free time for both playing Total War games, AND posting on the Org. Yes my life really is that exciting. :laugh4:

Mostly I post in and read the Empire sub-forum. The age of sail is my favourite period of history, so I'm excited about Empire. I have, however, played the entire Total War series and enjoyed them all.

Well there we go. That's more info about me than you can probably put up with. :2thumbsup: Sorry I took so long in properly introducing myself. I hope you can all forgive my lapse in politeness.

Given your honourable conduct, depth of knowledge, and gentle humor, I think much could be forgiven of you. Allow me to formally welcome you, Sir Beane.

I thought that I'd be a lot busier than I am to be honest, but college life isn't as taxing as i'd imagined. Sure, it gets downright hectic toward the end of the semester/quarter but most times you find that you've got plenty of free time. So relax! You're not the only one who's got too much time on their hands.
