Makedonian:
1) Why can I no longer recruit Pezhetairoi in any city except Demetrias and Pella? Is this a change or did I do something wrong?
2) DId the Thraikian units get moved from the Factional to the Regional MIC?
3) Makedonia was never able to rectuir its heavier phalanxes (Pezhetairoi and Argyraspidai) in southern Greece, right?
4) Did Thorakitai get removed from the Makedonian unit list?

Epirotai:
1) Didn't they used to have Pezhetairoi in their original settlements? (at least Ambarakia and Epidamnos)?
2) They need to get the Thraikian units from a Regional MIC, right?
3) the only phalanx available in Southern Greece is also Phalangitai Deteuteroi (at least for them)?

Koinon Hellenon:
1) Are the Greek Noble Cavalry still available?
2) Weren't they given a long-pike phalanx that could compete with Pezhetairoi and Argyraspides? Can they recruit Rhodian Slingers now? (I remember asking a long time ago and being told they were on the way)

Sorry to be asking such dumb questions, but I accidentally (or not so much :S) removed the Recruitment Viewer for 1.2 and can't find it to download again. (the Makedonian questions are for a campaign I have where I can't decide if I should make the Settlements just above Pella (which before could recruit Thraikian units from the factional MIC) Homelands or Allies/Subject Kingdoms (4/3) for the tasty units. The Epeiros and KH questions are because I'm thinking of leaving the Mak campaign as is for the moment and picking one of those two to complement the Casse campaign I've just started (currently taking 3/4 of a stack to rampage through Britain).

epirotai: 1) now not anymore, they are only recruitable where makedon can recruit them
koinon hellenon: 2) the rhodian slingers are recruitable with an factional MIC level 3 in Rhodes(because somewhere else would be weird :D )

Makedonia :
1) Pella, Demitrias, Alexandria, Antiocheia, Babylon, Seleukeia, Baktria. No changes there.
2) no, they stayed regional
3) nope, but the elite phalanx has a greater AOR than in 1), I wonder why.
4) Nothing was removed from Makedon. They never could recruit them. That's because a unit unique to Makedon uses the same model.

Epeiros:
1) not since 1.0, I don't know for 0.8x
2) Just like everybody except the Getai
3) Yes

KH:
1) AFAIK, yes. But not in Hellas itself.
2) a. There is a pike reform for the KH, the AI SPQR must build a huge city in Italy, except Rome = vanilla marian reforms trigger.
b. Rhodian slingers can be recruited now... on Rhodos!

I'd like to add a question. How about the cretan Archers (for KH), when can you recruit them and what do u need for that.

you need a lvl 4 native MIC on Creta or in antiochia or alexandria

M3) Argyraspides have a larger AOR than Pezhetairoi because more people were eligible for Argyraspides service than for the Pezhetairoi. IIRC Pezhetairoi were recruited from Macedonian lower nobility, while the Argyraspides could be recruited from all Hellenes.
M4) slight correction: the Macedonians do not use the Thorakitai model at all, and Thorakitai can be modded in with relative ease. The reason why the Macedonians don't use Thorakitai is because we have no records that they historically did. The Macedonians drew inspiration from the Romans for their pikemen (see the Hysteroi Pezhetairoi), not for the Thureophoroi.

KH1) Not in the KH starting provinces, no, but they are in Epeiros, Macedonia, Byzantion, Thessaly and Aitolia, as well as a dozen other provinces in Hellenic regions across the map. Check out the recruitment viewer in the EB folder.

Thanks for answering my question Ludens.

Little mistake there with the Thorakitai...

With Hellas I meant the Peloponnesos and Euboea... should have been more clear there, but I was in a hurry.
