I was just wondering is there anyway to change the trigger that makes this happen or make it come quicker because i always end up taking out the Romanii too quick or it doesn't happen and i would really like to see the Makedonia and KH reform pike man in action

There are no ways to change the triggers for the vanilla Marian Reforms. They are hardcoded to occur when a huge city is built by the Romans in a settlement with the "Italy" hidden resource (and possibly a couple other minor requirements). The only other option would be to make a scripted reform for all the units (though that wouldn't work for bodyguards) and there aren't enough buildings for more reforms, especially if they are only for a single unit.

Couldn't you make therrazza a huge city with the "Italy" resource and give it to the romans temporarily when some scripted condition is met?
That should help imho.

Technically, you juggle around the culture slots and place the Italy resource in places, but that would be a lot of work.

I presume you are talking about the Goidelic units: the basic ones are still in, but the elite hammermen and tank infantry have had their recruitment disabled. You can still find them in custom battle.

does it have to be a roman huge city government building or just a huge city controlled by romans in italy?

they(CA) should have made a cheat for this one.

I believe if the Romans conquer a huge city the reforms will trigger. Though, IIRC, you may have to wait a couple turns after such an event.
