Yes, its that time of year again. The time so many promise to better their life, themselves, and/or others as opposed to the previous year.

My New Year's Resolutions:

1) I wish to drop 28 pounds, putting myself at 190 pounds. I feel that is actually a realistic goal, and will leave me fairly healthy. This semester, I dropped 10 pounds, so I'm feeling good about actually obtaining this goal. My ultimate goal is to be somewhere in the 160-180 pound range, though honestly I'm going to play it by ear a bit to see how fit and healthy I actually am before just trying to shed further weight.

2) Be more patient and tolerant towards others.(not going into detail)

3) I am in the midst of applying to become Residence Assistant at my UNI dorm for the next school year. Becoming RA and doing as good a job as possible(also tying back into #2) is a prime goal.

4) Maintaining and/or improving my brand spankin' new 3.8 GPA, as well as doing my best to actually take knowledge away from my classes as best as possible.

5) Being more friendly and sociable.

6) Obtaining my own vehicle.

Well, that's what I've got thus far.

EDIT: Dad gummit, can a mod please remove the apostrophe from "New Year's" in the thread title.
8) Stop using possessive apostrophes where they aren't supposed to be used. :wall:

My three L's for the New Years are:

1. Lurk harder
2. Laugh harder
3. 1337 harder

All three are attainable, oh and also a fourth be a senior member but I think I can pretty much consider that unattainable.

Does anyone actually do what they say they will? Most people forget the next day.

Curse less. I swear so much in real life where it's at the point that it doesn't actually mean anything.
