EB not working!

I've managed to finally install EB properly (I think?), however, every time I try to play EB it loads up to the initial game screen before the intro movie and does progress any further. It won't let me exit it either, as when I try to bring task manager up it wont let me.

Any ideas on what i've done wrong?

if that doesn't answer your question then ask in that forum, the EB'ers are much more likely to be able help than the modders in here.
