Keyboard Remapping

My computer's keyboard lacks a Pause button, which is distinctly annoying when it comes to games. I'd like to reassign the combination Ctrl+P as being the Pause key. Could anyone please point me in the right direction?

Well, one way would be to edit your registry files under

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout

This, however, may be quite dangrous if you mess or delete something. There is a very handy link (http://www.usnetizen.com/fix_capslock.php) if you should decide to do it that way.

There appears to be several free programs that can change the registry keys for keyboard layout, but I haven't used any of them and can't attest to their reliability

A lacksa whosawhatchawhosis? :inquisitive: What make and model are your keyboard? I was under the impression that most all 101 and 104 keyboards, including international ones, had the Pause key...

I use KeyTweak to remap the keyboard. There are probably newer ones out there.

Have you tried pressing...P..This key on my keyboard pauses my games.
I never use the Pause/Break key.
