Here is the voting for the first completely unedited competition...
This one had enough that it should have had an internal poll like we did back in the day, but it's too
late now. There were a few pictures that are not included in this poll due to rule violations. There
were a couple that I almost didn't include, too.

Voted for myself just so I don't end up with no votes. Damn the immorality of voting for yourself.:eyebrows:

Ibn-Khaldun

I don't know what you're talking about! :inquisitive: :beam:

The Celtic Viking

Many good here, and it was hard to pick but in the end #12 won out. I like the idea of Romans killing Romans. :devilish:

But there were several that were just as small as mine! :shame:

There were only two candidates for me this time, and ended up voting #23 - just like the fact there's action in the foreground, impressive in itself, but the armies visible in the background just raise the scope of the engagement and remind that in such battles events even as dramatic as what we see on the foreground are but a mere small fraction of what makes up a large battle, of the drama and excitement, tragedy and euphoria... I'm not going too deep on this, am I, eh? :inquisitive:

Crap, I forgot to title mine, I meant to call it "Cannonball".
Not that it's going to make any difference, judging by the response in the original thread *Mutters*
I like number 12; I love the way it seems to curve up and over the hill, and it looks like a pause that you might get in a civil war battle, when they wonder why they are fighting...yeah, definitely number 12.

Voted 20 because I hate fighting elephants :sweatdrop:

Very nice picture as well :2thumbsup:

Not too deep, no. Now I can just copy this and say I voted nr 23 for exactly the same reasons!

Voted number 10. There's just something epic about those men running through rain-soaked woods. Also, the game looks suspiciously good there. Advertisement Screengrab, maybe?

It's quite astounding to see, that some that shouldn't have been voted for are beating the one that should win! Of course, this is just all one person's opinions.....

Come on number five!

Thanks! I found it pretty epic, to chase down the routing Gauls through their own forests with their own freaking light cavalry. Doesn't look like too many share my view though :laugh4:

Elephants sure are popular recently. Maybe I should add a "no elephants" rule to the next competition just so something else will win.

Elephants are like "In the Hall of the Mountain King", in that whatever they are added to, it's awesomeness increases by a factor of 10.
