I dont think eb 1.2 installed correctly

i downloaded the 1.2 patch and installed it under C:/program files/activision/rome total war/eb, but when i start eb it says version 1.1 in the bottom left corner. (i have xp, so i thought it was ok to install under program files) When i click "run eb" there is an error. please help.

This should be in the tech help section of the forum.

If you have RTW + EB 1.1 installed in the Activision folder you should install it there in de Rome - Total War folder, not in the EB subfolder as you did now.

I had this problem too with EB 1.2 and yes the best way to resolve this is to reinstall everything in this folder: 'C:\Rome - Total War', that should fix any problems.

If I'm right there should be an EB folder inside your EB folder now. You can delete that one.
Than just install EB 1.2 with "C:/Program Files/Activision/Rome - Total War" as target.

But you don't have to reinstall everything if it is that.
