Since I have some unofficial submods added, I suppose it can't be fixed, but I wanted to share a little story...
Once an army of mine (Pahlava), was on it's way to claim Prophtasia the last eastern province in the hands of the Seleucids. One turn from the city, it was blocked by a red halo, but no enemy army was to be seen. My general, eager to prove his worth, tried to attack: the sword symbol appeared, but no battle came....
A spy was quickly brought to action: a small army, with old school peasant sprites, three units, two of liby-phenicain spearmen, and one depleted unit of Spartan hoplites. Odd.
My army had to go all the way around the lake south-east of Prophtasia, laid siege. Next turn the ghost army tried to break the siege: CTD when I tried to battle manually.
Reload, autoresolve, victory! The ghosts began a slow migration to Charax, the closest Seleucid settlement. I tried to bribe them, they won't accept. I tried to kill the general but assassins found "no assassination target available".
They made their way to Charax, defeated a few Sabean stacks, gained reenforcement of proper seleucid troops from Charax and their captain (the Spartans) turned into a familly member who now has a full stack still including some lybo-phenician CTD makers, and five or six command stars who would crush anything I could throw at him on autoresolve. The buggers are still invisible on the strategic map (only the red halo and a small "ungreened" circle for agents).
The ghosts are wandering around Charax, chasing rebels and casual Sabeans. Susa, Seleucia and Babylon are under their menace and if they decide to become aggressive, I'm doomed.
I guess there is something wrong in my campaign. Seleucids are alllied with Bartix, hard times are coming for Parthia...
