The Title says all, In previous forums I read many advised to wait some time after heroic victories to prevent CTD.
Although I have not met or I forgot to have Heroic Victory CTD on 1.1, I wonder this tactic still can save my campaign or do you have any idea.
P.S: I use alex with EB 1.2 on Vista. AFAIK alex.exe is not supported with EB, is it?

It is not certain that it will work but it will lower the chance of a CTD because of a memory leak (RTW is good with memory leaks...).
Don't forget that with Vista you shouldn't install RTW in Program Files.
Alex is not supported by EB, but that only means that the standard installer was made for RTW 1.5 only. If you got it working fine yourself or if you use the unofficial mod for EB + Alex than it works anyway. Same goes for BI + EB. It's just the shieldwall, horde and other features added by BI or Alex that aren't added to/supported by EB, but they can be added manually

LZ3 said that he added all official fixes with his minimod that ı am using so just a breath of smoke I can wait no problem with that but I am going crazy when I was about to lose a battle but miraclously won that one. just about to have time for a relax breath but what happens it CTD! that makes me crazy... :hmg:

The waiting does still work mostly. Plus letting the memory leak fix itself by quitting out every few hours, a little sooner if you fight a lot of manual battles.

I have never autoresolved as I need screnies for my AARs.
Maybe to close EB and restart in every 2 hours Ok methinks,
Also I noticed that my autosave is active I forgot to change it cos I just installed EB into another folder.
Men I have 3 different RTW folder + one M2TW folder (İt has also 2mods!)
I pray God that still my EB opens lol :laugh4:
