View Full Version : Interesting CTD against Ptolemaioi

I'm playing SPQR past the year 190 and I am getting repeatable CTDs before engaging in battle during the loading screen.

They seem to be occurring against the Persian regional units of the Ptolemaioi :egypt: since I was able to fight battles before, against the Ptolemaioi.

In the save game posted I am about to attack a single unit stack outside of Charax, with a good size stack inside the city. Here is the file. Save (http://files.filefront.com/Empiresav/;12902721;/fileinfo.html) (First time using this :smash:, so let me know if the link is good, file uploaded successfully).

I am using EB 1.2 with City Mod, otherwise I have only added 0.2 radius to a few non-Persian units in the edu, no other significant changes that should affect other files that I am aware of.

I've tried running the validate install, but I have XP 64bit and Java is a bit screwy so I'm still working through using that. :wall:

I'd like to know if anyone who uses the save file has any trouble with loading the battle after attacking the stack outside Charax. :help:

I've had to auto-resolve other battles before but it has gotten frustrating against phalanxes and I've been taking too many losses and hiring to many mercs! :whip:

Also I've gotten the Marian Reforms successfully after holding 90 settlements and in some former Carthagian cities I have a Carthaginian Reform marker that looks weird and cannot be destroyed, there maybe one in Mastia, but for sure in Carthage and a few others I can't remember the name to.

Thanks!

Edit: this is how my Empire looks after 190 BC

The battle loads fine here. Are you sure you've got the missing sprites fix?
