Everyone understands body language right? Cut the everyone, and cut understands too, and replace them with barely know. I seem to lack to interpret properly body language from girls.
Care anyone to do a quick brainstorming of body language? Like what does it mean when a girl smiles to you even if you don't know her? And when you do know her well, if she smiles a lot?

Context Context Context my Romanian friend. A girl you don't may smile because shes just trying to be nice or she is scared becuase you're ahhh you know STARING at her. Not saying you are I'm just saying.
If you know her and she smiles allot thats usually a good sign however you may just be hilarious like me. It really is a blessing and a curse.
Playing with the hair, hitting other forms of touching, and general want to be around you are usually good signs that don't leave to much open to interpretation staring and smiling is also good in a classroom setting but usually not a very good sign in general public.
I've been giving you advice for four years now. Do make something out of it. :laugh4:

The only body language Strike reads up at TexasTech is drunken girls falling over themselves. It tells him "I've had too much to drink, please help me to the nearest bedroom".

Oh silly me. It takes a certain skill to learn before you're able to let drunken girls take advantage of you.

Well with your diet, one can only imagine that's how you pick them up. ~;)
Charles Bukowski once had a poem on the subject. I cant remember the exact words, but pretty much he turns a corner and sees a girl smile and walk past. He doesnt know the girl, but he wants to kill her for smiling for no good reason. He decides to let it go that time.
Pretty much my view on random smiling.

Moving past the obvious sexual tension...
As Strike said, its context and the girl herself. I became quite close to a girl this year, and a month or two ago, she revealed she had been flirting with me for a number of months. I had no idea. I can pick it up between other people, but not when its with me.
Although Strike is Texan, his advice is sound. :grin2:

No man Im the exact same way. IRL I love to joke and am generally amiable to everyone I meet. You can imagine my shock when I realized people play favorites. Not to mention when I was just a tiny ball of machismo I was burned kind of bad all due to misinterpatition.
I look back on some of the girls from high school now and wonder how I didn't see the things I see now in hindsight.
Aw well you live you learn.

Left half of the face often shows the true emotion. So if the left side of the lips is twitching it could mean she is nervous or she is afraid of your presence.
If not then probably just being polite. Although smiling means acknowledging your presence so there is often some kind of intention behind the smile.... says the good book

If that's true Beefy, I'm screwed. The left half of my mouth has an evil smirk that frowns down upon ALL YOU MERE MORTALS.
