Which faction for my first AAR?

Hey guys as I get my new laptop friday or saturday and I haven't played EB for quite a while I feel like writing an AAR:laugh4: I'm just not entirely sure which faction it should be about here are my ideas:
1. Quarthadastim (was definitely one of my best campaign experiences but I kind of ruined it through too much blitzing)
2. Ptolemaioi (never played them)
3. Pahlava (never played them)
4. Koinon Hellenon (extremely interesting faction, but as with Quarthadast I did too much blitzing just to finish it...)

I hope to be able to publish a first chapter after weekend, and the good news is: I'm on a student's exchange so I have LOTS of time to play and update:laugh4:

Yes, I'm for the Ptolies too. I don't want to see a KH AAR, cause I still mourn for my promising KH campaign. Its the second KH-Camp. that crushed :shame:

I voted for Qarthadastim. You see, it is generally better people stay away from AARs of Hellenic factions, especially if they've never played as them. Phalanx warfare needs time to be learnt, it isn't like Roman manipular formations or barbarian warbands, which are relatively easy to use.

I have voted for Pahava. It is a defiitely a faction which is fun to play, especially if you avoid premature blitzing of AS. Try to remain a loyal satrapy as long as you could, slowly building up your economy, trying to subjugate Gava-Mazsakata and those AS provinces which might eventually defect from them (spies and assasins might help here a bit) and finally prepare for a long but glorious war for independence. If Bactria refuse to see the obvious advantages of beiing ally to you against common grey enemy, you can always take it, install a client ruler and role-play the Pahlava-Bactrian confederacy struggling to defend itself against the Saka Rauka and subjugate the overly proud Syrians.

Anyway, good luck and lot of inspiraton and perseverance with whatever faction you choose in the end!:2thumbsup:

Had to go pahlava, I just find the goverment reforms so interesting and it has to be my favorite nomadic faction.

Ok some good and some bad news: good: my lapop arrived today. bad: 1. it has another video card than promised in internet and 2. and more important: eb doesnt work properly, get a ctd in every battle loading screen. I already posted this in the bug section I hope it gets solved out:no:
