I haven'T seen any thread about it here before, so I just wanted to mention, that theres a great M&B mod for EB fans.

This mod uses actually a lot of stuff from EB.

Nick Wylie one of the EB composers is the responsible for Hegemony's soundtrack.

Yeah, the mod leaader used to post here a lot, haven't seen him in a while. Good mod though.

My apologies for the necro, as I haven't been able to log into the .org forums. My browser didn't take too well to the malware or what have you formerly present on the org site.


Yes Nick has composed, and is continuing to compose music for the mod.

The mod is greatly inspired from EB, as having played EB on many occasion that was bound to occur :laugh4:

Of course I have taken kind liberties to explore many facets of the proxy era previously missed by EB (on account of RTW limitations), such as with factions as Massalia, Nabataea, Cyrenaica, Taurican Greeks etc.

Thats all I really would like to go into, as it would seem uncourteous to showcase.

Great to see the forum is still vibrant, and i'm looking forward to EB2!

I loved that game, it was prepared by independent developers. I hope they improve it and it will not be a failure like knights of honor.:shame:

It gives a roman time scope to Mount and Blade.
vanilla is a fantasy game that locates in Calradia with 1200s background...
It is a RTS the most common contribution to RTS games is you can use horses you can mount and dismount,
very addictive thanks to its wonderful mods that the developers has built the game with the capability of hundreds of them in the game.
so very mod friendly.
The best mods I prefer has added own kingdom ability, that you can rebel and build your own realm.

it's for mount and blade

a game that I have supported from a very early stage, think i bought it for around a fiver a few years ago, not sure how much it is now but i reckon it will be around the standard retail price for a pc game

It was on sale for 10 bucks a while back. Cheap game, really fun, easy to mod too. I play it more than EB now (blasphemy, I know).

I play it without cheating, that killed my previous campaign, captured a lot by stupid mountain bandits. 80 Mountain bandits kill your men like a machine gun, I can easily kill 20 sea raider but I will not mess with the mountain bandits again.

And if you roleplay (in fact M&B is not for roleplay, it is for ROLEFIGHT :-) )
Add points to your charisma if you lay back, if you are role fighting (playing) Achilles put points to dexterity.

but my advice do not forget to use old pal (ctrl+H) you will go crazy after mountain bandits massaccre your elites even before they reach the hill.

I cannot remember but they released a fantasy mod named timeless kingdom after hegemony.

Bought the game, having an absolute blast with it...
Can't wait to try hegemony on .11, if it's haf as good as native it will rule my last hours of sleep...

I've never actually played hegemony since im waiting for it to be ported, but from youtube it looks crazy.

I'll be sure to get it first thing when it's finished :2thumbsup:
