This is the era of well dressed soldiery and even better dressed Generals. It is also the era of fantastic facial hair and some of the best hats ever invented. If there is ever an era to be dressing up for, then this is definitely it. :laugh4:

The Org totally needs a fancy dress contest to see who can come up with the best costume. :2thumbsup: Bonus points for replica weapons and equipment.

I already owned a tricorne and captains coat before I even heard of Empire :P unfortunately if you wear then in public you get funny looks and/or insults and things thrown at you. So sad. :(

I'm definitely hoping for some good wig/facial hair based ancillaries.

Tricorne hats are actually pretty commonly available and reasonably cheap. Go and find a decent costumers shop that caters to theatre and you should find they have a few.

The Great Prairies of the central United States and Canada are not widely renowned for their shopping opportunities.

Minneapolis and Calgary have some of the largest shopping mauls* in the world, but it doesn‘t mean he is near to them.

Maybe you should ship him one?

You're right, didn't think of that. Guess it's because if you live in England you're never more than a dozen or so miles away from a decent sized town or city.

It should be possible to find somewhere online prepared to deliver though, albeit for slightly more money than shop-bought.

And I would send him a hat if he was prepared to pay for buying and shipping it :P but it would probably be easier and cheaper to go through a store. :laugh4:
