the campaign map is extremely laggy for me. it takes an intolerable amount of time to scroll the view window even a tiny bit. zooming is smooth, but it is amazingly slow to move the view at all. is there a setting i can disable? perhaps that fancy schmancy refelective water can be turned off. or am i simply outta luck? battles are fine it seems.

Wrong forum. This is EBII, not EBI. You can use the search function to figure out the solution. There might be several reasons but it probably is the reflective water. Perhaps search for the reflective water disable mod.

I thought the reflected water thing was just a myth. Disabling it really won't help much... Anyways, do as munky said, try a forum search. It isn't much more difficult than starting a new thread.

If you have EB 1.1, upgrade to 1.2. If you have 1.2, it's probably your CPU driver. I had similar on the campaign map until I upgraded mine.
