Hello Backroomers, would you like to play an US Elections game, like the one CA did some months ago? If there is a lot of interest, maybe I will host one.

Thanks.

I'd like to see something like the Constitution Convention. Hashing out the rules of a new government and such. But that depends, again, on who would sign up for it. Either way, you've got my vote.

I'm with Marshal Murat. I'd love to see what kind of constitution the org would end up with.

You will have to debate for it.

Maybe someone would enlighten me with the constitution thing?

I might be up for it.

I was suggesting that rather than re-enact an election, we should instead have a Constitutional Convention (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia_Convention). This, in my view, would let us work on crafting a document/documents that would create a national government of some sort. We could hammer out a monarchy, a democracy, a confederacy, any form of government, so long as it can pass by a vote of the various states.

Each person who signs on would be randomly assigned a state/province/chiefdom that they would represent at a "convention" and would have to argue for ideas that their state would like to see in their government. We could have some true discussion of actual policy and governmental organization without trying to buy voters on campaign slogans and such.
