New HDD's

So my old HDD's died a death the other day and I've bought 2 new ones. The problem is that both of my old HDD's showed up under one path, e.g. 2 x 250 Gb drives showed up as one 500Gb drive.

I have fitted both the new ones and formatted them but they are showing up as 2 seperate drives.

Is this a SATA problem as they are SATA drives and how would I fix this?

Make sure you plugged them both into the same SATA ports that your old ones were plugged into, and also go into your BIOS and ensure that RAID0 is enabled for both drives. Should fix your problem.
