View Full Version : Two Client Rulers??

In my Romani campaign I suddenly got two Client Rulers in one province.
The thing is that I created Type IV gov in Numantia and later when I took Pallantia I also created Type IV gov. But since I had a full stack there then Client Ruler could not enter the town the next turn and because I made peace with Lusotanan in the same turn and gave them Pallatia then I had to move that general/client ruler to Numantia.
Now, to my big surprise he got the 'Client Ruler' trait and not that Intruder trait! Anyway, peace with Luso did not last long and I want to establish Type IV gov again in Pallatia but I want to use that same general who I got the previous time.
So my question is - Will he get Intruder trait when he enters Pallantia? Or will he get that 'Rebel' trait that Client Rulers get when they enter/conquer another town??

Try it out dude, that trait AFAIK is temporary and goes away if he leaves.

Recruited generals can govern any type-4 city. You can conquer a city with a recruited general and create a type-4 government with him in the city and he becomes the governor without any impostor traits.

Unless you accept him into your family by adoption, that is, then he becomes a FM.

How do you adopt client rulers?

Sometimes when you're low on family members your recruited generals will get an offer of adoption after winning a battle... Kinda like man of the hour.

guys ,
never adopt client rulers
there are some consequences
i don't recall in precision but it had to do with a trait that doesn't disappear after adoption
and that gives problems with some things
