How do you activate the campaign script

I have installed EB and managed to load up the main menu but when i go to start a campaign it keeps crashing

The historical battles work fine. i can get to the menu where you choose your faction but when i click start it crashes. in the faction info it says something about activating the campaign script, i was wondering if that was the problem, if it is could anyone tell me how you activate it.

Sorry. The game i am on about is Europa Barbarorum a mod for Rome total war.
