View Full Version : More march of time questions
1. Can it just be any homeland to trigger MOT? Can Romani activate MOT without Roma (or any of their starting privinces for that matter) as long as they have a homeland become huge?
2. If i blitz Epeiros and give the land back can the mot be activated (in current campaign Romani only has Patavium, Segesta, Messalia, Medilanum, some of the alps, and maybe Bononia)?
3. What if Epeiros upgraded one of the towns to huge and then eventually Romani gets it back, will this not suffice for mot (because the huge city building is greek)?

I think this has been answered b4 but this is wat i know.
1. No they need Roma and another city with the secret resource "italy" to start MoT
2. If you let THEM upgrade it.
3. NO it has to be a ROMAN culture upgrade building, so if you wipe them out or fully upgrade the cities you a SOL
Thanks. I could not find the exact answers. Sorry to repost. Feel free to close this anyone. I have my answer.

As Epeiros you don't get anything new from the MoT-reform anyways, you can ignore it and wipe out the Romani.

Yep you can:yes:
- One reason why Epeiros can be better than a Makedonian campaign:laugh4:

Well, the MoT can be useful for Epeiros if they're fighting Pontos. The post-upgrade Pontic bodyguards are inferior to the Kinsmen's Cavalry.
I should have been more clear. I was playing as Makedonia. I left Epeiros to rot in Italy but instead they spread like a virus. I am in the dark on FD so giving the land back would have been tedious, expensive, and time consuming. I am unsure who benefits more from the MOT, Makedonia or it's eastern neighbors.

Press esc, then game options. Check "Reset advisor" and press ok. Use a diplomat and once the screen comes up, press the question mark in the top right corner, then press "show me how" Then you make the offer.

Uhm, what if - playing as the Carthies - I wiped out the romans during the first few years... can I put my reform where the sun doesn't shine?

-At least year 235BC
Carthage reform:
-Build at least 5 (L5 regional MIC)(royal_barracks_V1) in these cities (Lepki, Garama, Adrumeto, Kirtan, Ippone, Tuat, Siga, Lixus, Sala, Gader, Mastia, Sucum-Murgi, Baikor, Arsé, Oxtraca, Numantia, Emporion, Tyde, Pallantia, Vellika, Tolosa, Massalia, Segesta, Arretium, Ariminum, Roma, Capua, Arpi, Taras, Rhegion)
-Hold 3 of these cities (Tolosa, Massalia, Segesta, Arretium, Ariminum, Roma, Capua, Arpi, Taras, Emporion, Arse, Mastia, Gader)
OR
-Wait until 200BC
But you can put the change of seeing reformed Macedonian pikemen, KH phalanx, late bodyguards of eastern factions there where the sun doesn't shine :p
