I need some serious help. I recently had to switch my harddrive, destroying everything on it in the process. Of course I saved everything important first, such as all my EB saves, quite a lot of screenshots and some personal mini-mods.
However...I forgot something very important. My EB 1.0 install!! Argh!
Now, some of you might not think this very important, seeing as there are two newer versions of EB out there to enjoy for all. However, it is very important to me, seeing as most of my greatest games are on 1.0, which I still fire up from time to time to play a few turns on those great campaigns.
The greatest one is my Romani 180 BC campaign where I've gotten an Augustus (still to early for the Augustan reforms, but I'll get there), in which such great characters like Quintus Fabius Ambustus Gallicus, the conqueror of over 30 regions, including most of Gaul, Dacia and Asia Minor, Fabius Julius Ceasar, the conqueror of all of Lybia, Aegyptus and the Levant, Marcus Ambustus Asiaticus Ceasar, the conqueror of Anatolia and Syria and of course Caius Augustus himself.
I could go on forever about all the epic tales of this the greatest campaign of all time, but I'm sure I would only bore you.
Anyway, its time to get to the question. I have looked everywhere (well obviously not everywhere, since then it wouldn't be a any point asking) but I can't seem to find a downloadable version of EB 1.0, not even in the old "EB v1.0 Released" thread, that just directs to a boring "EB has been updated" page. Booooring.
Seriously people, I've kept a freaking record of every single position any of my FM's has been elected to since 220 BC, that's 40 freaking years of writing down everything from Tribunes Militias to Consuls and Pontifex Maximus.
For example, in 209 BC the Quaestors were:
Lvcivs Cvrivs Dentatvs
Spvrivs (client king of Ammonion)
Cnaevs Cornelivs Scipio
Cnaevs Ceasar (third son of Caivs Avgvstvs)
Also, Decimvs Cvrivs Dentatvs and Kaeso Cvrivs Dentatvs (second-cousins) were both elected Plebeian Aediles, and Cnaevs Atilivs Calatinvs was elected to the office of Consul as a Novus Homo.
There were over a dozen other elected officials that year, but once again I am rambling.
I apologise, and will suffice to hope that someone out there has a link to a downloadable EB 1.0.
