View Full Version : KH Ethnicity Question
I'm going to play a KH migration campaign. I don't want my FM having Athenian, Spartan, Rhodesian, etc. ethnicities since that wouldn't make sense. What ethnicitits are available to KH and how would I go about changing them? I wouldn't necessarily want to change what a effects an ethnicity has a on traits, just re-code what the ethnicity's name and description paragraph in-game.

Well...You could also rp the Spartans and the Athenians to be a rivalling faction in the council of <INSERT MIGRATION TARGET HERE>. What do you think?

Or you could roleplay that they refer to their origins. The athenians and spartans migrate, so in their new country these ethnicities refer to where their ancestors came from originally.
That's true, but I was really wanting to RP them as a different Greek faction (i.e. descendants of Greeks who had been there for hundreds of years) using FD and console commands to move the starting KH armies and FM to where I want them. I was thinking of doing an AAR and it would grate on me to have Spartans or Athenians ruling in Massalia or Syracuse or Bosporus.
Edit: I installed another copy of EB 1.2 in a seperate folder from the one I play my normal campaigns with so that any modding mistakes won't destroy my games. I'm don't have a lot of experience with this so if you could be as specific as possible, I would really appreciate it. I would like to know:
1) How to change KH's name.
2) How to change KH's color.
3) How to change which ethnicities I get marriage and adoption offers from.
4) How to change the ethnicities of KH.
5) How to change where KH units can get recruited from.

2. color: you have to edit your descr_sm_factions file in your EB-Data folder (make sure it's the EB-Data, and not the RTW-Data folder.)
You have to know which faction has been replaced by the KH. Here's the list:

Note: You have to exit the entire game and start EB again to make it work. at least I have to.
To find out what colour would fit, you could open your normal MS Paint-Program and choose one colour. There you see, what "code" which colour has, f.e. green 150 blue 50 red 20.
