Why it doens't work in Program Files?
What do I do know? Reinstall the whole thing?

More info, and an step-by-step install guide would be apreciated.

Because of Vista. Reinstall RTW and EB. Yes. See "Important Information" sticky. No.

I don't have Vista.
I'm using XP.
I cut and pasted my original installation in Programs Folder to C:, then installed EB, but it didn't work.
When I click on the Play EB shortcut, it just starts vanilla RTW.

What I am missing?

Make sure the shortcut is actually pointing towards your new folder C:\Rome Total (or whatever you named it). If you copy it from Program Files to a new directory, the shortcut does not always change to reflect the new position.

In short: right click on the shortcut change both the lines to read the new folder (using properties in the right click menu)

You need to fix the shortcut, or use the Trivial Script. See frequent issues.
