Musically-wise, that is.

It seems like every 10th good band I discover comes from Sweden. Dead Man, Witchcraft, Spiritual Beggars, On Parole and now one of the most kickass rock-and-roll bands I have EVER heard, The Itch (who, goddamnitalltohell, ARE NOT SIGNED! Why, god, why?!)

So, can anyone tell me: why does Sweden rock so damn much?!

Because they have some of the most beautiful women in the world. And thus they woo them with music?

SWEDEN?!??!?!??!?!?!??!?!??!!?

Bah! Talk to any death metal fan you wish, he can tell you that Sweden's next door neighbor Norway rocks much more - there's a reason our country is shaped like a guitar you know...

On a more serious note, I think it's due to the very generous government financing of music that we have... It makes it easier to make music without a record deal.

I mean, seriously, their music isn't bad at all, but just looking at the band members makes me want to beat them up.
