Hi to all the members of the Guild!

I´m usually lurking to learn and install properly some mods and all that, so thanks for the great work.

Well the issue is that following Quintus Sertorius´Guide to behave as a good Roman, I need to add money to some factions, and to recreate the situation historically, I need to put Hannibal´s army (for instance) on its place as well.

I sought for a topic about this but I couldn´t find it, so if someone is so kind to explain this to me I´d be most thankful (oh, I have no idea about using console commands, but hope it´s not difficult)

Cheers from Hispania!

Open the console with the key below Esc on your keyboard. Type add_money <faction> to add money to the treasury of whichever faction you want. You need to use internal faction names, see frequent issues.

Hey, thanks for the answer, Bovi, tonight I´ll try (well it seems very easy)
I guess adding armies is not so easy...

I haven't added armies myself. You can see the EBBS script for some examples of spawning armies.

In my current Romani campaign I edited the EB money script to keep all the computer factions at 300,000 mnai roughly. Works great and is the best campaign I've played on EB. The computer has armies everywhere and they like to expand. Only downside is you have to put in the old script if you play with a faction that isn't as economically capable as the larger factions or you will get crushed (just copy the original and keep it on hand).

Changing the money script does affect campaigns already underway so you don't need to begin a new campaign. Sure beats using the add_money command every turn.
