Sorry to make another thread, but I just popped in Medieval 2 and forgot: Was it 2 discs? One is M2, one is Kingdoms?

I have the Gold edition but I haven't played in ages and forgot how many discs I had in total. I was pretty sure there were only two.

unless i am mistaken the original m2tw was 2 dics + a kingdoms disc? but i could be wrong

Yeah at launch I had the original M2TW and it was on like 3 DVD's IIRC, but last year I bought the Gold edition and as I said, only have 2 DVD's. M2TW on one, Kingdoms on the other. I couldn't remember if they consolidated it or not.
