Quit complaining it was 37C here today, and I got to swim and eat ice-cream. It was terrible. :clown:
But, seriously, you didn't get snow? Everyone else did, that sucks.

I wish we had snow like that....
It's always been a dream of mine to witness a 10-ft snowfall, dig into it and create an intricate network of forts and pop in and out of exits deliberately situated atop the largest snow drifts and then wage a guerrilla snow war upon the adults with my sizeable army of children, Iron-Triangle style.
Back when I lived in Pittsburgh it sowed enough one year my best friend and I were able to build a fort by digging straight down. We even did tunnels although their safeness was in question (luckily it wasn't 10 feet of snow so a collapse wasn't too dangerous. :clown:).

Yeah, Pittsburgh hasn't seen a serious snow fall since the mid-ninetys, methinks. Now, all the news channels have special coverage when we get more than 9/10 of an inch. If we get 3-6 (which is what our few "serious" snows have been), well, it might as well be The Day After Tomorrow come true.
I want another 20+ inch snow like we got back in '93!!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Storm_of_the_Century_(1993)

it is now 64 F in ATL.....
wow.
We're looking at 71F here in the DC area, with snow expected on Saturday. :inquisitive: The trees are going to be confused.
I can't remember if I'd moved to Pittsburgh before or after that happened...
Most snow I recall at one time was a few feet.
Now I live at about the same latitude on the opposite side of the country but we get maybe an inch a year. :dizzy2:
