That coming up with a good signature is difficult? So many quotes out there, even if you get an interesting one people might not pay attention. However, trying to be witty is hit or miss and if you make a good one there's a chance people might steal it or rip it off somehow:juggle2: (ahem Meth and 777Ares777....:clown:). Anyone here give up on signatures?

If you visit the graphic work bench in the entrance hall, providing your signature design doesn't have too high an expectation, i may be able to rustle you something up

No problem from me. I've got two Frenchies - how could I go wrong?

not really. first i had a link to my AAR, then a link to the definition of a boost, and only recently i had a link to the Israel supporters group, but Tosa made me take if off since it was backroom material.
but overall, not too hard, though i would like to add a lot to it, like funny quotes and such.

I get bored with quotes easily, or people don't get it. Many mafia lines, including the voting phase for ATC, but that is too long.

I loooooove this sig by Ares though! I just hope it isnt too big...

Since you asked (sort of):

Pictures (from the sigpic FAQ) (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/faq.php?faq=new_faq_item#faq_faq_sigpic)
Pictures in signatures are not the occasional used pictures to illustrate something, but show up in every topic. It's already possible that one page contains 25 different 4.5 kb avatars. Users with slow modems will experience serious trouble when loading pages with many (larger) graphics.
Pictures are limited:
-10,240 bytes max.
-no sound.
-max 500 pixels wide, max 150 pixels high. This applies to all images together in the signature.

Your's is 500 x 296 and 166KB; OK on width, a little much on the "high" side, and heavier than the 10KB max. You could edit it in Paint or some other graphics software down to complance level, and it'd still look pretty good.

-edit-
a compliant version:

The original, is a screencap from the introduction to the Human campaign of Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos. CGI done by Blizzard, now Blizzard-Activision.

Backstory:
Medivh, the last guardian of Azeroth, was trained to become the Guardian. He was, however, overcome with evil and stuff, decided to search out with his mind. He found another mind, that of Gul'dan, upon Draenor. So begun Warcraft: Orcs and Humans, where Medivh opens up a portal, letting the Orcs invade and help them to find the lost tomb of a demon lord, Sargeras, in exchange for defeating the only rival in terms of power. The kingdom of Azeroth. The humans, dwarves and elves form an alliance in the second game, Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness. Orcs have taken over the western continent and now come for Azeroth. Medivh is killed in his tower by a party of humans. The humans defeat the orcs, and they return through the Black Portal to their own world. Those that remain are placed in internment camps. Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos begins with Thrall, an orc warchief, having a vision of Medivh, telling him to flee to the lost continent of Kalimdor. Thrall does so, after meeting with "The Prophet" (Medivh) and Medivh continues to the council of Azeroth, where he appears in front of all the rulers of the humans telling them to also flee to Kalimdor, as rumours of a plague spread throughout the northlands. Medivh says he has failed humanity once before, and he will not do so again.

I find some quotes are just too great to take down. Such as Tosa saying "In a way that tickled my nose."

He was referring to a members posting habit, after banning him.

Ya'welcome, mate. Now your sigpic is both awesome and compliant. Good job on the re-sizing.

I've only had two sigs in my eight years here. I'd love to have an awesomely funny sig like some of the sigs floating around here, but I can't seem to recognize something quotable when I see it, let alone recognizing it a sig material. Therefore I'm content with what I have. Beside, I think subconsciously, my current sig represents my opinion on most topics. :laugh4:

On the contrary, I think yours is quite.... interesting, Fish.

For my part, I just stuck in an alert of nobility, threat of thread lockdown, and a few interesting pieces. I once had this big huge self-made public Letter of Proclamation condemning A Completely Inoffensive Name for quite a suitable reason once as a personal joke, but the mods took it down. I have no regrets.

If I had more room in it, I would also put down the number of balloons I currently have (19, and I want more).

I believe I have had this signature here ever since I joined the org ~two and a half years ago. I've always liked my sig and have always been too lazy to spend time thinking of making another one

Hmm....the first quote I have in my sig is just something I've found funny when I was looking for sigs someday for a research project.

The other quote from Issac Newton. I've heard of this quote years ago and it just resonated with me deeply. I would have to say, it is my favorite quote of all time.....

I don't want an unlimited amount of text to be allowed for sigs, but I always get frustrated when I see I have gone over the 10 line limit. Most of the space filling up my sig is all the code to make it look neat, (center, bold, etc...).

I cycled through a few different quotes for a while now- However, I really rather like the current one, so I think I'll stick with it.

Mine is just a couple of funny quotes and a Flying Spaghetti Monster logo pic. I use a smaller font in the sig lines, so it's not taking up huge amounts of real estate when viewing.

The pic makes it easier to find my posts when I scroll through a thread, always a plus.
