I may have missed it, but has there been a topic on the historical battles that normally come with the TW games for ETW? There are quite a few I would like to see recreated.

Anyone else curious about the battles besides the grand campaign and The Road to Independence?

Welcome to the forums scipiosgoblin.

I would like to see the battle of Stony Point! A night assault on a Fort by stealth and diversion. Cowpens would be nice too.

Anyone else have ideas?

Gangut and Poltava are musts. And Narva, much as it pains me to say it :tongueg:

Besides that, maybe something from the First/Second Coalition?

Certainly something from the Seven Years/French and Indian War. Both in America and Europe.

Hmmm...maybe something from the Partitions of Poland?

Maybe some real continental classics instead of that colonial stuff :clown:

Blenheim, Hohenfriedberg or Leuthen

I believe I read somewhere that there will be no historical battles, but I'm not 100% sure...

Yeah true that has been mentioned. And then maybe, as CA IIRC said they were still looking into it.

You're right. CA have said there will be no historical battles.

Well that kinda ... sucks. Oh well. I've only played a couple of them anyway. I can do without. Just looking forward to playing ETW.

Didn't somebody say there was going to be a nifty new battle map editor with the game?

Some person in CA commented that Tools would be released, what these tools are, I have yet to see confirmed.

It's also not confirmed if these are during release or post release, but post release seems to be the idea.
