Runs slowly

Is it normal that the system requirements of EB are way higher than just rome total war?
Because it runs very slowly with me, i have an ati radeon 9500 and 512 mb ram.
(Yes i know it's a sucky computer but i'll get a new one in a few months :beam:)
Can i do something to make it run better because i realy like the game.

I've got 512MB and an ATI Radeon 9200.

EB is good for one's patience.

15 minutes to start. 2-3 minutes between turns.

Still more than playable though and even more worth the wait.

Install more RAM and you'll see a ton of difference.
