Newbie to Medieval 2 TotalWar

Hello everyone.

I recently purchased Medieval 2 TotalWar on Steam and so far, really like it. However, I can tell there is a lot to learn in this game and was wondering if there was a guide anywhere that can help me get started.

For instance, working the economy is something I have been trying to figure out, as well as using religion.

Anyone have some suggestions here?
Good strategy guides for newbies?

I am already hooked on this game and now look forward to Empire: Total War.
