I was just curious.
I'm playing Romani.
For city happiness buildings, there's two types that are "sports-related" you can build that allow you to increase happiness of the city you build it in.
I'm aware of two lines:
martial fields -> arena -> amphitheatre -> colosseum
circus simplex -> hippodrome -> circus maximus
I noticed that after I build arena, I can change my city to have annual/biannual games, but with hippodrome, you can't have annual/biannual races (like in vanilla TW). I haven't gotten a circus maximus yet, so I'm not sure if that's also the case.
I know that hippodrome comes with a happiness bonus already, but always thought it was nice to be able to set the frequency of the races in your city.
Was there a reason the racetrack-type sports buildings weren't coded to allow you to set the frequency of races in your city?
