:help:

Dear Frontroomers, the lovely thing called the International Baccaulareat (or Internal Bleeding) is forcing me to find the following thing

An economic article which includes reference to supply and demand and also prices (change and others...). The article must be maximum 6 months old.

May you kind Orgahs point me to the right way?

Thank you very much.

Ok, check online news or newspapers for articles. Something about oil may be a good bet, but that might be an over-studied topic.

Edit: Bloomberg (http://www.bloomberg.com/news/worldwide/) might be a good place to look. I think I read an article about oil there a few days ago that would suit your task.

http://money.cnn.com/2009/01/07/markets/oil/

That probably fits your bill.

The business pages of nearly all decent newspapers would have something for you to research.

The obvious references are The Economist (http://www.economist.com/) and the Financial Times (http://www.ft.com/home/uk)

I think you should do oil too...

You can get good marks for getting away from the plain vanilla supply-demand stuff since you can write about:

a) Inelastic demand (people buy oil no matter what the price)

b) The effect of a cartel (OPEC) on an otherwise well-globalized commodity and how it affects demand by regulating supply levels.

Just look for some luxury goods at the moment. I bet you can find something about jewelry demand going down in the current economy and so the supply follows suit.

Good luck.
