I thought to advertise a bit a game from the chapter house. For all of you STW fans. This game is combination of STW kind of campaign and risk in historical setting, played as forum game. Here is the Sengoku Jidai interactive history.

In this game you can control one of the competing clans of Japan and try to carve your way as ruler of Japan against other human players. Currently we have 19 human players and more are wellcome. Currently clans available are : Ashina, Saito, Tsutsui and Ukita. But essentially any clan on the map is playable, unless already controlled by human player.

I am in fact very interested in participating. I already noted that this game existed but this was during your absence when it was rather inactive. Glad you came back. :bow:

I hope you do not find me inelegant for wanting to take over the Shimazu if still possible. I will check on all the rules ASAP, is there anything else I need to know before joining? I have an exam on Monday, afterwards I will be fully into it. :2thumbsup:

Hi Kagemusha,

I would like to join as well! From time to time I find myself installing STW again; I've been playing it in the recent weeks and for some reason I still think it is the best game of the whole series.

Your game sounds very interesting, from the factions that are still open Date looks the most appealing to me.

That's the best place to be imho. Not security-wise, but fun wise! The game quickly becomes about diplomacy rather than steamrolling a few little guys nearby. :yes:

If it makes you feel better, the Mogami wish you well! :laugh4:

I`ve got offers of alliance etc. coming in but I still need to get up to speed on the previous chapters events as it seems the Miyoshi killed the previous Chosokabe Daimyo and intervened in our siege in Iyo.

Same here. I am gonna read over the chapters in my Tech lab today and dive into diplomatic stuff with my current allies. Really i can't wait! :2thumbsup:

Actually he was killed in combat by the Kono daimyo and Miyoshi support for the Kono in the following season forced the Chosokabe to accept a peace. Anyway I'd recommend reading the first few chapters. They're definately entertaining, especially the exploits of your predecessor.
