Hi again + help wanted

Hello all

After a year (or two) I finally find my way back to EB.
Few might remember me from some AAR's, highly doubt it though.

Anyway, wanting to play EB again, I installed a clean RTW, patched to 1.5 and installed EB

A map in my rtw directory was made, called EB.
Looked good, unless it didnt work.
If i click on the play EB thingy, it just fires up vanilla.

So... :help:

Hi Mini,

check the shortcut to your EB game, don't forget it has to have the mod instruction on the exe like so it looks something like this :

"C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\RomeTW.exe" -mod:eb -show_err -nm

it is the -mod:EB that actually makes it look for the EB folder for its data

the other two are for showing error messages and disabling the intro movies

Mini,

All you could copy Vanilla RTW to a new folder in your C Drive, called it EB and direct the Installer to C:/EB/Rome Total War. This way you keep them separate and can use either if space is not a problem

I dont play vanilla nor any other mod (used to play RTR until their forum went down)
So won't be needing a clean rtw dir :)
