After installing EB 1.1 i click on the "EB-Play"-Icon and it starts without problems....but then it comes the normal RTW-Menue....not EB-Menue....whats my problem?

Hi FF,

You need to check the shortcut on your desktop has that text after the rtw.exe mentioned in the other thread to make it read the EB folder. -mod:EB it is telling the exe to look first in the EB folder for files and only to use the standard files if it cant find them in the EB folder... without it the exe will automatically use the vanilla data folder for all its data and you wont be playing EB !!

cheers,

Pobs

perhaps you control your eb-installationfolder.

inside the rometotalwar folder

i remember a similar problem years ago, when i installed my first romemods...

Examples of objectionable messages include (but are not limited to):

Posts containing addresses of warez sites or anything piracy-related: note that this includes "hacks" designed to enable Shogun: Total War, Medieval: Total War and Rome: Total War to run without a CD. The administration is aware of the fact that some use a "no-CD hack" for the purpose of enhancing their system performance, but we feel that the possible illegal benefits from these hacks outweigh all other considerations. Such hacks also require reverse engineering of the game, and this is in violation of the End User Licence Agreement. Anything pertaining to software piracy in general is highly discouraged.

This is NOT to be discussed on these forums.
