Awesome find!

There's actually a lot of videos on youtube i've never seen before, included this one (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpqvmth7Hew). It's in german but it shows off some really nice campaign map action. Looks like the Road to Independence.

It shows agents at work, army recruitment and diplomatic processes. From this video it looks like Diplomacy is entered through a menu, no more walking diplomats across the map or being stuck at war because you don't have an agent close. I just wish I could understand german, this guy is going through a wealth of information.

edit: Wow this video is really old. It still has feb as Empire's release. Can't believe i hadn't seen it til now.

from the g4 one - "what are my multiplayer options" "there will be pirates" that not make any sense to any1 else

Yeah I kind of thought the same thing. I think that earlier in the show that day, they were talking about pirates and how all new games should have pirates or something like that.

Well Monk, this is only a part of a 12 minute preview on their Mag DVD. He was playing 20 turns from the RtI, showed some deeper information to agents (the rake, the gentleman) and the diplomatic system and explained the building system (include units, generals ...). He did the "Bunker Hill" battle and a a naval battle - seems to me like the regular "Prviewe build" they all got from CA. But he was very excited ...

Good to hear you don't understand german, he ... well, he showed clear preferences on which side he would have fought in the "real" RtI Campaign ... :laugh4:
