Every time I want to play XGM i have to reinstall it or it crashes, any help?

I get a notification that says

Script Error in
xgm/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/descr_strat.txt, line 21, column 1.

Expected start date of campaign or battle.

any tips? I tried going there and altering the file, but it wouldn't let me save any of it.
