I noticed the following situation twice:

Continental dragoons drive off a unit of British cavalry and as the British retreat, they "fire" on them - while still mounted. They only do this once and I was not zoomed in enough to see what the animation looked like. I only saw the dragoon unit with smoke around them and shots wizzing off to hit the British.

So, does this mean that pistols are modeled?

Dragoons have carbines and can use them on horseback.

Amusingly, officers - both on food and mounted - have pistols.

Even more amusingly the drummer of the dragoon regiment has no gun, but mimes the action and fires a MIND BULLET! Smoke and all.

Battlefield mimes. Silent but deadly. Perhaps they told the poor bloke to try and psyche the enemy out even though they couldn't afford to give him a weapon. :laugh4:

Look out men, there's a hurricane blowing! No wait, it's an invisible wall! No wait, it's a tug of war! Damn these evil mimes and and their psychological warfare! :laugh4:
