Wow that was quick, and a typical knee-jerk reaction and a waste of time and tax payers money. I wonder what if they'll ban dogs next since I'm pretty sure more people are attacked by dogs than chimps (BTW, this not only includes chimps, but all primates including those that are rare and endangered and are being breed to keep from extinction) or exotic reptiles.
In a completely unrelated story, this does not mean that past and current presidents cannot be sold as pets, I checked.

Congressional monkey business at its finest.

Somehow I don't think you were referring to Ape Lincoln or Chimpy Carter, but rather the two most recent top bananas. ~D

Michael Jackson owns Ape Lincoln since he couldn't get the Elephant Man's bones...
Well, we're just fortunate that our Congress has nothing more important to do. :sweatdrop:

Maybe they'll have a debate on the affects of the emissions of cow farts and how it adds to global warming (oh I forgot, climate change, thats the new phrase) oh sorry, too late...

I guess the silver lining in this is there is little chance of an Ape uprising and having to watch Charlton Heston reruns...

i deleted it, could be taken the wrong way
the people who want to monkey around with the constitution and allow DC to have representation without requiring it be a state first. it's in stealth mode, the people doing it are chimps, monkeys, uncivilized senators who think some special committees and a majority will get them around an amendment.
