It would be strange to explain what happened in that day of April. The black caravan of cars, something very usual in the USSR, appeared in Moscow, escorting an important member of the Party to a remote village near it.

The mission was simple, there was a meeting at the Politburo, and this important person needed to arrive there. He had one day to go to that meeting, and they used this village to hospedate him. The village, which yesterday had 400 inhabitants, now there are 11 KGB agents, and this important person.

What it is not known that one of those agents, is a traitor. It was known after the next morning, when one of those KGB agents died in mysterious conditions. It happens that this KGB agent was the car driver of one of the cars. There must be a new car driver, but, who will be the car driver? What if the new car driver happens to be the killer? Something must be done.

One Killer, one target per night. Can target the Person if the Killer wants, but he will fail if there are at least 3 agents.
The Person, a person whose vote counts twice. The player will be announced in the thread.
10 KGB agents. Will be able to protect the Person every two nights, some can choose to protect every impair night and every pair night.

WEll, the rule will be modified. Every night, the 10 KGB agents will be able to protect the Comrade (the Person). The Killer will be able to target the Person if the Killer wants, but don't expect good results with more than 4 players.

This is not an attempt to act naive; I want to be sure I understand the game. The KGB agents have to actively defend The Person, Yoyoma. Or can they choose to defend one another? Or do they have no active role.

Randomness has no memory. It doesn't matter if you were mafia 100 times in a row. Right now, the odds of you being mafia are 1/9. (from everyone else's perspective, its 1/10 odds including me)

1 leader, 1 dead guy, and me, out of 12, gives you a 1/9 chance. Those aren't very "highly unlikely" odds. If you flip a coin over and over and it lands on heads, it's still a virtual 50/50 chance next time. So the argument that you were mafia a lot before is a false argument.

A few thoughts, one I find the Taka bandwaggon utterly baseless, he's just doing what he normaly does and is getting a bit of a backlash for his B 'rubber win. We can't even use the, he's a lurker excuse to justify the lynch.

White eyes is jumping on pretty much everyone, something that he held back on durring GF3 so my gut says he's innocent. For know though I like Pizzaguy's suggestions lets try to get some lurkers talking.

Finally, Molotov shot at the capitalist. He was bleeding, his heart was divided in two thanks to the wound made by the shot. He fell to the floor, and stopped living right away.

Once more, we won! Lord Winter killed my driver. He paid what he had done. We can rest of capitalism lies for a long time...

I am so glad I called off that bandwagon on Taka. After interrogating him I was almost sure of his innocence. I'd written off a bunch of people as suspects, and had noticed Lord Winter's first vote was very quick.

I thought it was suspicious, but I hadn't gotten around to grilling Lord Winter yet. :laugh2:

I think what caused the round one victory was the fact that we had basically one/two votes per person, and there was limited bandwagonning (no more than 2-3 votes at any given time), which would make the mafia nervous, especially if he had a vote on him.

But good call Yoyoma, whose vote counted twice. That was an awesome first round pick.



My opinion about this game, Caius:

Very good game. I liked writing in a sort of English as a second language Russian style, dropping the a's in my sentences and roleplaying as best I can. I think the inquisition with the people that were being questioned was well done, and the game easily could have lasted a few more rounds if White_eyes hadn't made the right pick. Taking all those votes off of Taka helped, though I didn't nail anyone. If Taka had 3 votes, this wouldn't have been possible.

Woot! Good team effort! Thanks everyone for being patient with teh questioning! You have to admit, it was fun!

I remember the only game I played with you I was fairly agressive in posting. Here I intended to take a more layed back aproach and I didn't want to take a chance that someone would point out the difference. Seeing as you had only played that game with me I thought you would be the most likely to notice it with no other games to moderate that out. Plus you were an experianced player who I thought may drop out if he died early which is always a plus.
